We spent our 2008 Summer Vacation at Carriage Hills Resort, Ontario. The accommodation is great. We stayed at a one bedroom condo with a kitchen and its own Jacuzzi bath. The resort has an indoor and outdoor pools and has daily activities for the whole family. The resort is about an hour to Muskoka, Wasaga Beach and Blue Mountain. Since we have two small children ages 3 and 1 ½, we are limited to what we can do. We visited Santa’s Summer House at Santa’s Village in Bracebridge Muskoka (about an hour’s drive). There is also a fantastic zoo close by. Most of the time, we spent on Wasaga Beach. The kids just love to play in the sand for hours. My kids loved playing with the sand at Wasaga beach. For the parents, it was just nice to spend the summer days with our children. Yes, I would recommend this resort to my friends. This resort will be perfect especially during the winter months because it is very close to the ski slopes. I will specially recommend this to my golfer friends. There are three golf courses around the area. One is actually right in front of the hotel.
