The Loch Rannoch Highland Club - Scotland |
We took our first vacation to Scotland using QVI holiday package. "Incredible" was our first impression. From the time of booking till checkout it was very smooth flow. We landed at around 7pm (it was dark as midnight) and checked in on our own, since it was 25th Dec. Absolutely hassle free. The lodge (it was a spacious single bedroom house) was 50ft X 20ft in size with full fledged amenities including all kitchen utensils.
Although it was freezing outside (0 to -5 deg), the room was very warm and we did not use any room heaters throughout our stay. In fact we utilized the kitchen to our advantage to have our own dishes in that small Scottish village.
The lodge was overlooking a big lake and mountains, with a full view from one side of the living room. It was almost like living in our own house for that week. Personally, myself and family was very much satisfied with the stay. It was memorable and unbelievably de-stressing break.
Normally, my tour always will have jam packed schedule, but this time, my family wanted to stay at home... Sorry lodge in spite of having many tourist spots around. I think this changed our style of holidaying. Though I have travelled to many places, I can say that this is the best holiday I ever had to date.
I know this is not the QVI's own resort, but the arrangement and their tie-ups with XchangeWorld made the difference.
