Es Pueto Main Resort – Ibiza, Spain |
Back from a wonderful holiday in Spain where we spent 2 nights in Barcelona and 5 nights on Ibiza Island. For the past 4 years, I have travelled along with my family to the Middle East, Fast East and Europe. We have spent a lot of money on hotel accommodation in all the countries we have travelled so far. But this year was something different. I utilised one week of my QVI package for this year in Ibiza.
Our flight to Ibiza was scheduled via Barcelona and hence decided to stop over in Barcelona for two nights. We made an online booking in a four star hotel and to our dismay, four of us were squashed into a 4x5 metres double bedroom with a small toilet. Believe me, it was not worth the Dhs 1,548 we spent for 2 nights.
On the contrary, using my QVI package we stayed in Es Pueto Main Resort on Ibiza Island and that was unexpectedly the best resort we ever stayed in during the 4 years of travelling. The best part is that our resort was facing the Marina and we had a view of the swimming pool from one of our balconies. Can you imagine master bedroom and a master bathroom plus another twin bedroom with a separate bathroom? To add further, each of them had a balcony and a huge balcony to our living room and not forgetting the lovely kitchen. What can I say about the luxuries in this apartment – a cot for my 11 month old baby, television, DVD player, sofa cum bed in the living room, washing machine, dishwashing machine, cooker, every required utensils, clothes dryer, iron, coffee maker, kettle, hair dryer etc.
To question myself - Where on earth would I ever get an accommodation so luxurious like this and that too for $55 to $60 per night? Ie. Approximately Dirhams 220 per
night. Thanks to QuestNet for this wonderful holiday package and for the next 30 years I will be enjoying my one week per year each in a different country. Viva!
